Simeon Zahl is Assistant Professor of Systematic Theology at the University of Nottingham, where he also runs the distance learning MA Program in Theology. He left the States for what was supposed to be nine months back in 2004 and hasn’t made it back yet, though he assures his older brother Dave that it is nothing personal. He studied at Harvard and Cambridge, and held post-docs in theology at Cambridge and Oxford. He is the author of Pneumatology and Theology of the Cross in the Preaching of Christoph F. Blumhardt. As a theologian, his research focuses on the doctrine of the Holy Spirit, emotion and religious experience, and Martin Luther. Simeon is married to Bonnie and they have three children. He has been a theological advisor to Mockingbird from the start.
