Hunde Takele is the Gen Connect Pastor at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church. He grew up in Ethiopia, was raised by German Lutheran missionaries, dedicated his life to the Lord at a young age and moved to the United States as a young adult. His arrival to the United States was nothing short of miraculous, and Jesus has led him through the pressures of language, hardship, and uncertainty through it all. His passion is for those especially in the next generation immigrant communities who feel they don’t belong. His desire is to be a bridge to know the love of Jesus and belong to communities rooted in that grace. He is married to Martha Oumer and they have two little boys, Jacob and Eba.
