Jon Guerra is a singer-songwriter and composer who writes devotional music – less Sunday morning worship music and more Monday morning prayer music. 

Valerie Strattan Guerra, a violinist and singer, collaborates and composes with Jon. She’s also a licensed clinical social worker whose clinical work focuses on using music in trauma treatment settings. 

Together, they’ve worked on two albums the past few years under Jon’s name (“Keeper of Days” in 2020, “Ordinary Ways” in 2023), several Christmas albums under the name Praytell, and, as film composers, they contributed to the score of “A Hidden Life” by Terrence Malick (2020). 

The Guerras reside with their daughter in Austin, TX.
